First Card Swap...COMPLETE!

I recently signed up for a few card swaps to get ideas flowing and get to know other people.

I really like the way this turned out. I used the new Cherry O paper from Close to My Heart with the Piece of Cake February SOTM. These need to be postal Monday! I have two other categories to finish, yikes!

June Card's - Close To My Heart

Here are a few cards I made this month for a few 'happenings'. Thank goodness the month is almost over because it has been super busy! But all the reason to make wonderful cards :-)

This first one I made for my niece, Whitney. She had her sweet baby James in April. They live in Utah so we had a chance to visit with them for her baby shower last week. He is soooo cute :-) This is a 6x6 card using Splendor paper from CTMH.

This 'guy card' I made for my mom's husband, Luke. He adores our little Addison and we appreciate it very much. I absolutely LOVE the folded shirt! I can't wait to try more techniques. This is a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card using selected papers from CTMH Cherry-O paper packet. My absolute favorite for this idea book. I can't wait to make more using this paper.

This card I put together for my nephew Kyle. He graduated from UC Davis. Perfect card for him, WAY TO GO! It was such an accomplishment. This is also a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card using one of the newest paper packets available through CTMH, Zippidee.

This was the first folded shirt card I made. I made it for my husband Jeremy. Such a wonderful Daddy to our little girl, addie baddie. "Daddy, you are the BESTEST EVER!"-Addie Baddie. This folded shirt was using a stripe from the Animal Cookies paper packet from CTMH. So adorable.

Mothers Day Memory Albums

For Mothers Day this year, I wanted to make something special for my mom and mother-in-law. This 6x6 Memory Album is with the Boom-di-ada paper from Close to My Heart. The colors are beautiful and remind me of my mom.

Here is the 6x6 Memory Album I made for my mother-in-law, Judy. I used the Miracles Kit from Close to My Heart. The colors coordinate beautifully and all I added was chocolate brown to the kit to finish the album.
